Architect
Registration Examination (ARE): What is it? The purpose of the ARE is
the following:
To determine
if an applicant has the minimum knowledges, skills, and abilities to practice
architecture independently while safeguarding the public health, safety,
and welfare.
The purpose
does not sound too glamorous, but that is not the intent of the ARE. It
does not measure whether or not you are a good architect, but rather if
you are able to practice architecture.
