Screenshot #1:

The screenshot above shows the new Akropolis Visual Search Engine. This search engine will be on dozens of industry and consumer sites before the end of this year. Users can search by category, location and keywords. The small gray icons underneath each image are links to that firm's Profile or Portfolio (shown below).
Screenshot #2:

This screenshot shows a firm's Profile when it is accessed through the visual search (shown above). You can see that the Visual Search provides a potential client or employee with an efficient way to generate a short list of appropriate firms, and then gather more information on each firm. Information is presented in a consistent, user-friendly format with a link to that firm's Web site.
Screenshot #3:

This screenshot shows a firm's Portfolio. In addition to searching for firms, users can search for projects. For example, a user could search for modern, landscape projects in Anaheim, CA, and those projects would be displayed with links back to the firm's Portfolio.
Screenshot #4:

Each image found in a project search or accessed through a firm's Portfolio can be clicked to display project data or view a larger version of the image. Users can also link to the firms existing Web site at any time.
Screenshot #5:

You can modify your Portfolio by using our highly intuitive Desktop platform. Clients access this area by entering their user name and password at www.akropolis.net. Clients enter their own text and upload their own images in each section. All information entered is searchable through the keyword and criteria search. Each page features clear, concise instructions. In addition, online help is provided. A small question mark icon leads to tips and sample text. There is also a "call us" icon at the top of every page. Clients enter their phone number and within 30 seconds an Akropolis staff member is on the line ready to answer any questions.

Akropolis also provides an inline Image Upload Wizard that automates the Portfolio building process as much as possible. Clients simply attach the image just as they would attach a file to an email.
Screenshot #7:

The Image Upload Wizard scales the image to the right size, compresses it so it will load quickly and puts in the right locations. Users can upload project images, their firm logo and even portraits of their employees. After the Image Upload Wizard scales the Portfolio images into 3 sizes (thumbnail, mid-size, and full screen), users may then view each size and approve the output before adding it to their Portfolio.
Screenshot #8:

The Portfolio preview shown above allows users to edit projects, delete projects and preview projects. Users can also make a project inactive. This means that the project will not be viewable by the public, but it has not been deleted. This is allows firms to archive old projects.
Screenshot #9:

The system serves as an excellent marketing tool for participating firms. Anyone can send electronic postcards featuring a project from a firm's portfolio. In addition the system allows users to email or print complete profiles or portfolios of participating firms.
